I’ve been hoarding quotes from books, films, and people in my notes app for years. Every so often I’ll take a look back, but most of them end up buried among the many notes on my phone.

I wanted to highlight a few I’ve returned to often to chew on over the years, and illustrate a small spot to go along with each. This exercise was such a pleasure. I haven’t illustrated for my own pleasure in a while, it brought me a lot of joy. It reminded me why I love finding visual metaphors for other people’s ideas and words.
